  Hall of Fame Young Roosevelt

The centerpiece of the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame is the Hall of Honorees, honoring the men, women, animals and events that have made extraordinary contributions to the horse culture and western lifestyle of North Dakota and the Great Plains. The inductees are selected annually by the Trustees of the Cowboy Hall of Fame, comprised of Inductees for the Leaders of Rodeo and Ranching, Rodeo, Ranching, Western Arts & Entertainment, Great Westerner, Cowboy Long Rider and Legacy Award divisions must be at least 50 years old or deceased. In the Rodeo Producer and Livestock divisions, only one producer and or rodeo animal may be inducted each alternating year. One Special Achievement inductee is honored every third year. One ranch is selected every other year.

Inductees to the Cowboy Hall of Fame are announced each July and presented at the August North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame Roundup.
